Working

Currently, the prison has nine workshops and inmates are assigned to the various workshops in accordance to their suitability based on their education, Specialty, aptitude,interest and physical and psychological conditions upon their incarceration.

Within the prison there are four main kinds of work for the inmates. They are ceremic making,electrical accessory assembly, paper folding and motor related jobs. As for work outside the premise of the prison, mainly they engaged in cleaning work.

Inmates participating in such operations are rewarded with wages plus bonus for excellent performance.

Skill Training

For the purpose of enhancing the inmates to be more capable and employable, the prison provides special training for art classes, classes for ceramic making and short term classes for traditional craft works, woodworking , water and electricity engineering. These are designed to assist the inmates to improve themselves and thus be able to assimilate into society.
