The prison since its inception in 1987, under the direction of the Agency of Corrections, Ministry of Justice, has helped tremendously in the smooth operation till date.

Although we are faced with the limited space and the ever increasing population of inmates, we do our best to assist and protect the released inmates to be accepted by society and not to re-offend.
